Our Waiver of Liability

Interacting with any live animal has innate risk that must be acknowledged before participating in any event or class held by Root Pass Acres, LLC. The attached waiver must be signed virtually upon booking any event with Root Pass Acres. Clicking below will download a copy of our waiver for your records.

Terms and Conditions

This website is owned and operated by Root Pass Acres, LLC. These Terms set forth the terms and conditions under which you may use our website and services as offered by us. This website offers visitors information on services, online booking ability, access to waiver information. By accessing or using the website of our service, you approve that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.

Online Booking

We do our best to make your booking experience easy and straight forward, however we cannot guarantee any booked date or time and may reschedule or cancel your booked session as needed. 

Service Pricing

We may, without prior notice, change the cost of services;  or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. Changes will be made at the sole discretion of Root Pass Acres, LLC. and will not affect the cost of services booked prior to the change. 

Cancellation / Rescheduling

We understand that plans can change and things come up. We do not charge a fee and will gladly reschedule your booked session for the Root Pass Farm Class.


Per our cancellation policy for the Petting Zoo only, you may be charged a $50 cancellation fee if the scheduled event is cancelled by you within 48 hours of the event. This fee will be at the sole discretion of Root Pass Acres, LLC. This cancellation fee is separate from the non-refundable deposit due at booking.

Service Fees

All credit card payments will be charged a 3.5% processing fee. The fee for the services and any other charges you may incur in connection with your use of the service, such as taxes and transaction fees, will be charged on one time basis via invoice and must be paid by the due date listed on the invoice.  There will be no service fees for payments made by cash, checks, or venmo "send to a friend".

Refunds and deposits

Refunds: We do not offer refunds for our services. If you are charged incorrectly, please reach out to us immediately to resolve the issue. We do our best to accurately invoice each customer for services provided, which are agreed to at the time of booking. If your scheduled time no longer works for your schedule, there is no charge for rescheduling.

Deposits: We require a $100 non-refundable deposit for any and all PETTING ZOO events scheduled. This will be due at the time of booking. We do not require a deposit for the Root Pass Farm Class unless the event is valued at more than $400.

Retention of right to change offering

We may, without prior notice, change the services; stop providing the services or any features of the services we offer; or create limits for the services. We may permanently or temporarily terminate or suspend access to the services without notice and liability for any reason, or for no reason

Right to change and modify Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms from time to time at our sole discretion. Therefore, you should review these page periodically. When we change the Terms in a material manner, we will notify you that material changes have been made to the Terms. Your continued use of the Website or our service after any such change constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree to any of these terms or any future version of the Terms, do not use or access (or continue to access) the website or the service.
